Well stone me-- UEFA have let chelsea off lightly.
I didnt see that coming!
Chelsea were fined £33,300 fine
jose Mourinho handed a £9,000 fine and a two match touchline ban.
Is that it??? For ruining a referees employment and throwing the game into disrepute.
You know sometimes football really ****** me right off.
I bet Roman Abramovich ****** himself laughing at that verdict.
Well done UEFA- you have shown that you are a complete disgrace to world football, and well done Chelsea, showing the way forward for anyone to cheat in football and get away with it.
I hope you are very proud of yourselves today.

It wasn't Chelsea FC that were responsible for the ref retiring.
It was the dik head fans who sent him death threats.
Roy Keane's punishment for ending Haaland's career is an example of a joke punishment. Banned for five matches and fined £150,000 after he was found guilty by a Football Association tribunal of deliberately trying to injure Haaland and profiting from the incident by writing about it.
He should have been banned from the game for life.
Most football punishments are a joke. Fines don't even add up to a weeks wages in most cases.
And before you bang on about Ferdinand and Cantona - IMO they got what they deserved. Shame there ain't more of that kind punishment.
The story flying around on this is that if Chelsea were going to attempt to appeal the touchline ban then they were going to be kicked out of the competition and replaced by another English team.
The team would have been the one with the highest UEFA ranking points, which is obviously Man Utd.
Hence, why Chelsea probably accepted the ban.
What a farce that would have been.
even more of a joke is the £2000 the spainish coach was fined.
i always feel that uefa dont like english clubs whilst europe gets away with all sorts for tiny, if any amounts of punishment.
i think the chelsea thing was blown out of proportion (i dont like them) and instead uefa should concentrate on the racism (spain and germany) match fixing (germany) and drug cheats (italy - how many players got soft punishments!)

Interesting point...but are Chelski really an English team?
As the joke goes, name the best French club - Arsenal!

Man Utd have acted far worse than Chelsea in the last few years.
Cheating, long history of tapping up players, moaning about referees, trying to intimidate and influence referees, suggesting the champions league is rigged, moaning about the format being unfair for bigger clubs when they got knocked out by smaller (but better) teams, violent attacks on fans, players ending others careers, nasty abusive language and behaviour from players towards referees etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc..................

Sergeant Jose's lonely touchline ban.
I think the reason he is not going to the game tomorrow is so he can stay at home and text the tactics and subsitutions in to the coach. If je was in the stand he wouldn't be able to do it as he would have a fifa bloke at the side of him.
