:help: I really want to grow some strawberry's but I know I've left it too late for this year so is anyone selling some plants (or willing to give me some)?

I don't have a car so would find it hard going around looking at different garden centres and I'm not too keen on getting them posted when I don't know which sites are good for posting them.

If anyone will send me some or can tell me a good company to get some from I'd really appricate it. Thanks everyone.

Try Ken Muir (www.kenmuir.co.uk). Quality of plants and customer service are excellent (speaking from experience), but not necessrily the cheapest place. You might even be able to get some that will fruit this year.

another vote for kenmuir

don't forget not to allow those plants to tip root - once they reproduce by tiprooting they don't try so hard to produce seeds (fruit)

I have plants I use as parent plants, and those I use for fruiting
