View Full Version : Prince Charles doesn't like the press - and?!

Radio 2 (not that I listen to it :suspect: ) has been leading their news bulletins (all day!) with the "Prince Charles doesn't like reporters" story. Now I normally like the BBC, but I'm getting tired of the way it seems to be prioritising pointless/non newsworthy stories over more serious ones. If the BBC continues to go down the pan (in terms of not actually reporting real news) then who will we turn to!

Does anyone else share this opinion of the BBC news? Or am I the only one who thinks it's all become a little too 'trashy'.

Geoff we are in a bit of a silly season.

Yesterday the headlines all day was Jamie Oliver, today its Prince Charles.

Wait until Monday there will be more serious stuff to report on.

I agree with you Geoff - they should look into more decent reporting on news that we want to hear about, not some stupid farce involving the royal family.

Oh, and here's me thinking this 'Prince Charles doesn't like reporters' stuff on Radio 4 today was an early April Fools' Day joke. Can't wait for tomorrow. Anticipate more depressing, pointless no news stories.

Just seen the coverage on TV, what a self obsessed bunch of eejits the media really are.

Do they seriously believe that the rest of us care in the slightest that Prince Charles doesn't like one of them.

Heck, I don't like any of 'em, (media or royals) will that make the front pages tomorrow?

:suspect:

Self-obsessed the media may be, but at least it highlighted (again) what a clown the man is.

Like father like son.

Should he become King I hope he manages to keep his trap shut when he's 'forced' to come face to face with other people he can't stand.

Meh, he says he hates the media... But he and all the other Royals use the media to their own ends all the time :loopy:

He's a bloody big eared hypocrite

I already knew what a clown he is, all this did is highlight what a bunch of clowns the media are.

Main story, national news:

Media say "somebody doesn't like us" booh-hoo.

Morons all of 'em.

I guess you could argue he's a bit more than a 'somebody' - ie future King of England.

Does that qualify it as headline news? Probably not.

At least it made me chuckle for a change, before the Schiavo story wiped the smile off my face.

I enjoyed this (non) story because it reminded me of Vic and Bob's ace 'Aromatherapy Tree' sketch, which featured 'essence of Nicholas Witchell'.

Are you insinuating that such fascinating topics like the seriousness of farting and which names suit which jobs are trashy? :o ;)
