Heard many different ideas but want some advice on best will work best;
Pepper
Orange peel
Garlic cloves
Cat repellent from general shops
Thing is I don't want something that looks weird (like orange peel or garlic)
Any other ideas?

I heared that you can get powdered Tiger poo from garden centers. You sprinkle it on the flower beds and the stink of the tiger poo scares the cats away, its supposed to work wonders but I never tried it myself.
This is discussed extensively here:

Used to like cats but cleared up one poo too many of late......and they have taken to ripping my new brushwood screening to bits when using it as a scratching post. Dogs don't get away with such behaviour :mad: Given there are 10+ million cats in the UK, we're likely to be submerged in cat dollops pretty shortly:roll: Some of their doings have the consistency of molten plastic and don't seem to break down.
We have found that lion poo and spiky plants work well. Sprinkle the lion poo around where they like to poo and put spiky plants in places where they enter your garden. We still have cats run through the garden but they dont stop to do their business.
I've just installed one of those ultra-sonic jobbies to keep the moggies away from my veggy beds.
Not seen a cat since.
