- What, like this?! - <blush>

HOW STUPID DO I FEEL!???? Thanks guys.... thought it must involve code

I'm pretty sure that this has been asked a million times before but I've done forum searches using as many phrases as possible and drawn a blank . . . . which can surely only mean that everyone knows how to do this except me, right? ;)

So anyway - how do you change your original message (if you've made a mistake, or left something out) once you've posted it?

Sorry sorry sorry, I'm sure the answer is already out there; perhaps you could just direct me to the thread . . . ?

Thanks, experts!!

Click the edit button, amend your post, then click save changes.

Look at your post.
Look in the bottom right hand corner.
Can you see a blue 'button' that says 'edit'?

Click on it!

Simply click the "edit" button in the bottom right hand corner of your post.

Then do your editing and post in the usual way.

OK - how do you take posts off the forum entirely because you're so utterly embarrassed about their existance.... ;0

you cant, but you can just delete the contents of your posts :) or you just click on "report this post" and ask the mods nicely to delete it
