ive got a website but im wanting to do anuther in flash.

i need a free editor though, ne ideas where i can get one?

and any tips would be helpful :D

to my knowledge there aren't that many flash editors out there that are free, the ones I do know of aren't very good... the problem is that flash hasn't had its specification released to the public, therefore people have to reverse engineer it to try and make their own players and/or software to make them...

there was one called "swish" that I used a few years back, I think it was the best of the free one's I ever found, not sure if it's still free or how much its improved...

well I personally use Dreamweaver, its not free though, although if you look hard enough you can get it free :rolleyes: theres also frontpage which I'm not to keen on, which you may or may not have on your PC with Office...

there are lots of free html editors out there though, just cant think of any names off the top of my head... coffeecup html generator is popping up but can't remember if its free?

i used to have loads on my comp, including frontpage but they all got wiped when my fella got a bad virus on it looking at naughty stuff :rolleyes:

the ones i used to use afore i started using dreamweaver were homesite and arachnophilia, tho i think the newest version of homesite belongs to macromedia now but you might find a copy of homesite 1.2 around somewhere
