Hi...I'm trying to find the Barrett (could be Barratt) family...mum was Jess, dad was Harry ( I think)...moved from Disley around 1960 to Sheffield. I've no idea what area.
Their garden was big, and memorable because it had a couple of single deck trams in it, their two teenage sons rode Corgi folding paratrooper bikes around the paddock behind the trams, (on one of which I had my first bike crash aged about 9). The sons built guitars, and converted my brothers violin into a (four string) guitar for me.
The sons were the same age -ish as my late elder brother so would be in their early 60's now.
I'd love to hear from anyone who also remembers or knows them...I'm now living in Brasil and getting a bit nostalgic in me old age.
