loopylass 02-05-2008, 10:30 PM Ooo I could eat her (not literally)
helenasq 02-05-2008, 10:30 PM she's a beauty, and the collar is just her colour!
fox20thc 02-05-2008, 11:45 PM she's a beauty, and the collar is just her colour!
Hmmm, just hoping she will sleep tonight with no 'please let me sleep in your bed' howling.
Rainrescue 03-05-2008, 12:20 AM She looks gorgeous - and I love the collar too - it really matches her.
Have you got her crate trained? That is fabulous for helping to toilet train, keep her safe - (and all your furniture), and give her and you 'chill out' time.
Make sure all the family agree on what all the rules and the words are that you use for her, and stick to them. If she isn't allowed on the bed - make sure she never is - then she won't get confused.
What a babe.
fox20thc 03-05-2008, 12:26 AM Rain, she isn't a chewer, has wonderful manners, doesn't beg. Sits on command, stands and waits on command.
The only hurdle is toilet training - oh and the now I know staffy temperament of 'I love you' and 'please let me have a hug and stay cuddled up forever!' :D
Rainrescue 03-05-2008, 12:30 AM What a good girl - so they must have put some effort into starting her off then. Thats better.
Staffy's just LERVE people - and are real snuggle bunnies - bless her.
fox20thc 03-05-2008, 12:33 AM Yup they loved her but were not quite prepared for the time demands (plus a very young family).
Shes vaccinated, chipped and I have 5 more paid for puppy classes to take her to (shes only five and a half months). Shes already registered with my vet and will be spade when the time comes.
I am soo lucky, and to think I shied away from the staffy X's on your webby. I met this girly in the park and fell in love on the spot :hihi:
anna293 03-05-2008, 07:31 AM shes lovely, congratulations. anna.x.
fox20thc 05-05-2008, 07:41 PM Update, she is an absolute cracker! No barking at night, happy to be left alone whilst we disappear for a drinky or go to bed. No chewing, no begging . I am totally in love with her
Is this dog real or tricking us :hihi: She has excellent table manners as well!
I apologise for never considering a staffy of any variety before,(sorry Rainrescue :) ) I was wrong, she is loving, well behaved and obedient. I would (based on my experience) recommend one to anybody :)
