I've been running a 6 a side team for about a year and we're looking to play regular 11 a side games this summer.

I'd like to get about 3 different teams to play against us on one midweek night when the light improves (so in next week or so).

Anyone know any teams who might be keen? We tend to play Broomhill / Hillsborough ends of town.

I'm doing it this way as I assume there are no 11 a side leagues that play midweek evening matches. If anybody knows any better please let me know as that would be ideal.

its coming to the end of the season for many teams and to fit the games in i think quite a few teams will be playing midweek matches

That's right, my team is playing 3 wednesdays out of the next 4.

No sorry. That's part of the problem, we've got about 11 to pick from for a 6 a side league....

I can get eleven together for a one off game if you can sort a pitch - any day but a wednesday as we play six-a-side then.

I have a few pitches in mind but for the first 1 or 2 games might just booked out a full pitch at Goodwin, Broomhill to save organising.

Am thinking generally Monday's or Thursdays. Poss as early as next Thurs?

how old do u have to be

Wouldn't say there's an age limit. My team is about 24-35 ish. We're average, if you fancy giving us a game that won't be completely 1 sided either way that's cool.

We have a pool of about 16 players, so am sure we could get an 11 - a- side team together.

We are an avergae standard, so should be fairly well matched!

We all live in the broomhill / ecclesall road area.

As I said I do aim to get these going on a week night, but to get the ball rolling how's about a game on weekend of 16th/17th April?

First game is Mon against Mike's team. Mon is the best day so far so if we can get organised we'll be playing each other once a week. The pitch I've gone for is in Gleadless.
