I have been offered a postion working in the life business department @ norwich union on eccy road the role is broad band operations delivery,what im
wanting to know is does anyone work/has worked there whats it like the role its self the people, team leaders ect.

I have worked their in the pensions administration department where they deployed software to ensure you justified every second of your working day, right down to toilet breaks.

The phrase "battery hen" springs to mind.

The only true way to move up in the company is to live the brand and devote yourself to NU, even then the earning potential is pretty poor.

But if you need some cash take it and have a look round for something else.

i worked their because i need cash quick....theres hardly any progression...people who were 8 years in were doing jobs i wouldnt want to do...so there was no incentive for me to stay.

still it was a good bunch of people and the average age of the team i was in was bout 21 so we had a right laugh

they sound bloody crap to work for oh well its only a 6 month contract i will just have to try and stick it.

i've worked there for 8 years ryan1 and i have moved and progressed as much as i have wanted to. if you want to progress you have to want to put the work in, its not handed on a plate for you. its a friendly place to work and every flexiable and layed back. they have good nights out and its quite a young environment to work. i think you will like it if you have an open mind and want to work. x
