Watching the 5 minute weather update last week after the evening news, I noticed Leeds, Manchester & Birmingham all on the weather map. The following night - Leeds, Nottingham, London.
I know this sounds like a rather petty subject but does Sheffield not exist!? I think I've seen Sheffield on the BBC weather map once this year - thats once out of almost a hundred days!!
Surely the BBC knows that we are in the top 5 largest cities in England - at least we deserve our name up there once in a while, even if we don't get a mention :(
End of Rant! :D

I think the BBC thinks that Leeds is the only city up north. You only have to watch Harry and that dredful woman on Look North to see that. EVERYTHING is about Leeds!
Unless theres a murder in Sheffield then we get all the "oh no sheffields full of murderous fiends" etc etc....

Meh, we always get crap weather on Bank Holidays... ALWAYS without fail... Even when the Bank Holiday falls in the Summertime months such as August.

This subject has been mentioned on the forum many times.
The official excuse is that as 'Manchester' is ten characters long, there is simply no physical space to write 'Sheffield' on as well :loopy:
Anyway, keep ranting away, old boy
Good to see you're still in a bad mood ;)
