Guys and Gals

My friend has just persuaded me to go out to a gay pub/club thing in Leeds, but i have never done this sort of thing before. I am posting for two reasons:

1) Wheres the best place to go? Im not really into clubs with lots of loud music etc, but i dont wnat some bar filled with 50 year olds! :help:

2) If you see me around leeds come say hi!!! I have no friends in Leeds at the mo and its dead booring!!

I havent been to Leeds for ages, I remember there being a fairly ok club in a courtyard somewhere, and a few pubs in the surrounding area (sorry is this sounds vague, but i had been drinking Stella all night), the pubs were a bit on the grotty side I remember.

I think gay times will have a bar listing.

Some of the "straight" pubs in Leeds, around the Harvey Nichols area are very laid back and friendly too.

I think this is known as the "Coin Exchange"??

Your thinking of the Corn Exchange, which is a round building with shops in it.

I dunno?? I was told to go to the "Coin Exchange" where there were lots of pubs all together in a courtyard? Perhpas i misheard "coin"? :suspect:

I've checked with a mate and the courtyard is called (quite appropriately) Queens Court.
