As it's the time of year for removing the green slime from your patio and paths, I thought I'd share my newly discovered method with you :)
I've tried jet washing - then hosing down everything else the crud wound up stuck to as a result - both activities being hugely tedious, and all the while I was debating about the processed water and electrickery I was using (being a greenish kind of person)
I took some patio cleaner off my sister when she moved into a flat, but found it's poisonous to plants, so not really suitable for anywhere in my garden
I tried bleach once but splashing it on clothing produces interesting results, and it smells horrid :gag:
This year I accidentally discovered that the Safe4 disinfectant that I've been using to clean Brude's shower tray in the garden also kills that horrid green slime, so I invested in one of those hand pump things (one step up from a squeezy spray) for £1.49 in Wilco's, and a bottle of concentrated Safe4 so I can mix it as strong as I like, and it's worked a treat - with very little effort, just spray it on and leave it. And it's completely safe for pets, even when it's wet
