I want to get a sixpence and get it chopped in half. Does anyone have a sixpence that they wouldnt mind sending me for me to chop?

Were you at the musical with her? Because if not, pretty much any coin/medallion/cocoa tin lid would serve the purpose.

If you can't find anyone to donate one, you can pick one up on E-bay (http://coins.search.ebay.co.uk/sixpence_Coins_W0QQcatrefZC12QQfromZR40QQsacatZ585 20)for a couple of quid.

Don't forget to send her your half via the best man, on the morning of your weddding day, to put with hers:

Something old, something new,
Something borrowed, something blue,
Silver sixpence in my shoe.
