So much that I think someones having a laugh. My point being its not very safe if you live on your own and are vunerable. STUPID me answered the door without thinking then thought after how Bl....dy dangerous was that. So please everyone play safe dont do what I did.

Not that I know of and I havent lived here very long so dont think its the neighbours.
BoppinBruce 29-03-2005, 09:13 Dont the outlet ring you back these days to check if it is a real order. If they do ask them for the number and contact the 'joker'

Personally i would call the Pizza place and ask them to ring you back if they get an order for your place just to make sure its the real deal. After all - think of all the wasted Pizza's??
goldenfleece 29-03-2005, 09:26 That reminds me of when one my neighbours had some trickster ring up practically every pizza and indian takeaway in Sheffield and order loads of complete meals to be delivered to their house!! This was back in 1986 when they did not use callback or ask for your phone number or stuff. There was a non stop parade of delivery vans and cars for hours, and not only a very very red-faced and angry neighbour but many many furious takeaway staff as I dont think he actually paid anyone at all!!! I think some of them called the Police but I dont recall them actually bothering to come out....
Apparently this neighbour, not in Sheffield any more, had 'upset' one of the local Neighbourhood Watch members and called them a pack of useless ******* and they carried out this stupid prank...
hahaha
I work at pizza hut and some people order for delivery three times a day :o
BobDaBuilder 29-03-2005, 11:02 hahaha
I work at pizza hut
Shame on you, you must be one of the sloppy, I can't be arsed students that has given P.H a bad name...why is it that you are the only company I know of that must cook your pizza's in grease...? I have given up now as every pizza I order from you comes in handy for one thing only, and trust me it's not eating....more for lubing my bike chain and filling the sump...

Don't the bits of crust stick to the chain
BobDaBuilder 29-03-2005, 11:47 Crust...???
Have you been to P.H l8ly, if so you would know that their pizzas dont actually have a crust...i've seen more crust in a Mcdonalds thick shake (Which isn't actually thick anymore) but that's another thread for another day...lol

Been to P.Hl8ly eeerrrr no I haven't sunk that low for a while :(
As for Maccy Dees milk shakes not being as thick, that's a disgrace, they were the only good thing they ever had.

That would mean that the phone call at 02:30 was only slightly better than the delivery man knocking the door down. Take the phone off the hook to be on the safe side.

Yeah good point. Alternatively tell them you dont ever want a pizza after 10pm?
BobDaBuilder 29-03-2005, 16:02 Alternatively you could just eat em all and get really fat, then find the little s*** that keeps sending them and eat him/her...
Thanks for all your replies and ideas. But one of the most annoying thiings is I dont even like pizzas
BobDaBuilder 29-03-2005, 16:52 Oh....that's shut me up then...send em round mine cos I bet they don't come from pizza hut....lol

This might be what's going on. A friend of mine lived in New York for a few years. He and his flatmates were broke, so they used to call for a pizza for the flat next door. Then when the pizza man came and was shouted at and told to sod off by the guy in that flat, they would open their door and offer the pizza guy a few dollars to take the unwanted pizza off his hands. He needed to get rid of it - so hey presto, discount Pizza!! Have you checked to see if any neighbours are nabbing pizza guy after he leaves?
Theres a thought a lot of my neighbours are students
BobDaBuilder 29-03-2005, 18:53 Students....there should be a bloody law against them things..
SilentStatic 29-03-2005, 20:02 Howabout nailing up a sign that says you don't want any pizzas, never have and never will?
bigflesh 30-03-2005, 18:55 I Don't Want A Pizza.....
I Just Need A Friend
(Oops, I thought this was an alternative song lyric thread!)
