Theres a huge sari shop in attercliffe called Kamatchi or something like that (I think its saris anyway it could just be material to make them but they have them displayed in the windows) i drive past it a lot and ive always wanted to go in as they look so colourful and beautiful.

There are 3 or 4 in Firvale near to the Northern General Hospital. 75, 76 or 97 bus from the city centre will take you there.

It's Karachi stores on Attercliffe Road, and there are several in Page Hall and in Nether Edge. Much better ones exist in Bradford and Leicester tho'.

....Sorry cut off in the prime of life!:hihi: I was saying that I'm not Asian but I love those long tops that are called kurtas and I bought a load off ebay. Very flattering and very cool on hot days.:)

Do the shops also sell the other asian clothing with the vail and everything. Wonder what it is like to be cut off from full view while out shopping etc.

The shops sell those scarfs and stuff as well. The majority of Asians in Sheffield don't usually cover their whole face up though, I think those matching trouser suits are very nice but I couldn't be bothered with a head scarf or sari though. Each to their own as long as they don't bother nobdey.

karachi stores in attercliffe is quite expensive. there are some nice shops on abbeydale road. if you got any asian mates, take them with you because otherwise youl get ripped off.

There are loads in Abbeydale Road - every second one is one e.g. Karachi (the former Sauna).
