Did anyone else go to the Yorkshire folk,blues and jazz festival at Krumlin in 1970?
As a student I was sold a fake ticket for the festival by a mate. He sold dozens of the things. We only found out when we arrived and had the tickets checked.
However ticket sales had not been good and they let us in anyhow. It was the biggest festival disaster ever. It rained and gales blew tents away.
By Sunday I was sitting in a pub in my underpants. It was all I had left.
Held at the height of the early Rock Festivals. WAS ANYONE ELSE THERE?
