Hi....just after a bit of advice, I have recently installed a load of plugins for MSN msgr and since then (Although may be un-related and I just didn't notice) I can't drag & drop from any location on my pc...does anyone know why this may be happening and is there a solution to it...?

Sound like a windows explorer fault..what operating system do you use BDB. If its XP have you tried using system restore.

It is XP and no I haven't, I was actually hoping to resolve this without having to remove everything as it may have nothing to do with it....i'll try a re-boot and then if still no good I think a scan with our old friends Spybot may be in order....wish me luck

Have a look to see if drag and drop has been disabled.
Right click Start > left click Properties.

For Start Menu, do the following: -
Click Customize > select Advanced. Under Start menu items, check the box 'Enable
dragging and dropping'> Ok > Apply > Ok.

For Classic Start Menu, do the following: -
Click Customize. Check the box 'Enable dragging and dropping'> Ok > Apply (if highlighted)
> Ok.

I have problems with XP windows explorer that I have to work around because no hot fixes are available

Anyway, it sorted itself after a re-boot thank god.

PS: You really helped me out there cos I had absolutely no idea where to start looking and didn't know that drag/drop option was there in the start menu...lol
