My parents have finally decided to split up for good, so now the total income for our household, just my mum has dropped... so I think I'm entitled to a lot lower tuition fees but I don't know who I contact, is it my University? the LEA (local education authority)? or the student loans people?

I dunno who to contact, although, I've already paid all my fees for this year so I dont think it'll make any difference for this year, but you never know, and extra money is always welcome :D

yeah its a bit odd, but not the first time they've broke up, but this time its final, my brothers turning 16 soon so its not like they have to stick together for "us" anymore...

guess I'll just pop into Uni sometime this week and see what they say

I used to work in the admissions and finance department at Hallam and unless things have changed recently, this isn't something the uni is particularly helpful with. Contact the LEA via the help desk at Howden House (near Hallam Uni City Campus) and they can get things rolling for you.
