Just wondered if anyone knows what the 2 loud bangs were, about 5 mins apart. I guess they could be heard in a wide area but I heard them in Burngreave.

Yeah i was still in bed recovering at that time but was told about the bangs so any1 with info tell us

Apparently it was two 5 megaton nuclear bombs going off, but I never heard it.

Excluding Sam anyone else got any info in this?

Surpised it nobody being shot round there.

Sam's just covering up for the fact that he dropped his wallet twice at about 11am. You heard it in Burngreave...he dropped it in Heeley.

I suspect it was someone being shot.

because everyone in that area carries guns and gets shot. Oh well at least the best curry house in sheffield is only 2mins away

I've been on the bbc website for south yorks nothing has been mentioned. Fingers crossed neeeeeeeeeek that it wasn't gun shots x

it could be deliveries to come of the units up on the back, they have large deliveries sometimes for manufacturing which makes a hell of alot of noise. they do it on quiet days generally.
