my daughters rabbit peppa hasnt been eating or drinking properly, only minimal
amounts, for the last few days. this morning she has gone to check on her
and she says that the rabbits nose is a little wet. what could this be and do
i need to ring the vets..i do hope its nothing to worry about.

I would ring the vet just to be on the safe side, could be a problem with her teeth, but if she's not eating there is something wrong, hope she's ok let us know.

I would go to the vets with her to be on the safe side. They can be so sensitive.

Try and get the vets to see her earlier if you can.

I'm afraid the rabbit sounds extremely unwell, I would take her into a vet (any vet you can get to) now. She is evidently suffering and needs urgent treatment or, I'm afraid having an end put to the suffering. :(

Am with Twiglet trouble is most vets are shut at this time until after 3pm as this is when they do surgery and care for animals already with them. I would try though if it were me and just go anywhere i could.

Thinking of you :(

Poor peppa, fingers crossed she is ok. Have you told your vet that you think it is an emergency and that you are extremely worried, they can sometimes fit you in earlier if you alert them as to how bad she is. maybe give peak vets at woodseats a ring, they are extremely good in circumstances like this.

hi helen, yes i explained to the receptionist what was going on with peppa, she said
that was the earliest she could do. but hey im hoping, cos i fetched her in this
morning, wrapped her in a towel and laid her on sofa with a cushion on top for extra
warmth, then got bowl of water and hand fed the water to her, she seems to have
perked up a little since then. thankfully only an hour to go.

Peak vets in Woodseats always has a vet there and they will never refuse to treat a sick animal.
Please keep us informed and let me know how Peppa is? You will be please to hear i don't think it will be teeth as they had them all checked and the vet said they were all perfect.
