Any help on this would be gratefully received.

I have a digital camera and have just put some of my pics onto my PC.

Im wanting to put this pictures on to a website but have no idea how. The website has a section on where to upload and then lets you browse your hard drive folders for your pics.

It says not to have the pictures over 300mb as they won't upload. My pictures are all around 900mb, so how do i reduce this??

Is there any websites that will compress the files as i have heard someone suggest this before but dont know where, and am i right in thinking that once saved to my PC comressed i wll be able to send the pics via emai aswell??

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me !!

Get picasa (from google)... http://www.picasa.com/

It will import all of your pictures then you can select them (press ctrl while clicking to select more than one picture), then click file and export. There's a resize option there.

Another good free image tool is Irfanview. I used this prog for ages just as a thumbnail viewer in win98 but have no need for it in XP. It supports just about every format on earth and has loads of features and its spyware adware free.
