No doubt Basil's head may well be fuzzier than usual, so I'll start the celebrations as I've always followed Hereford United (still don't know why).

Although not quite as extreme a plight as Donny had (the chairman didn't try to raze the ground for a start), Hereford's existence has regularly been hanging by a thread, but they're back in the third tier.

A belated cheer from the Hoyland Bulls for our second promotion in 3 years! I was indeed one of the travelling army at Brentford, rather surreally sharing my part of the terrace with Scooby Doo, the Pink Panther and several middle aged men with painted yellow faces.

It's a tremendous achievement for a club of our size and small crowds, possibly the equivalent of Wigan Athletic winning a Champions League place. Best of all, we've achieved it played decent football on the ground, in contrast to the long ball game that most people associate League Two with.

To think that only a couple of years ago we were visiting the likes of Northwich Victoria and Leigh Railway Mechanics Institute! Next season we could be welcoming the likes of Leeds, Forest and Wednesday to ramshackle little Edgar Street!

Well done Bas, enjoy the moment.

Under your manager, and judging by performances against opposition from that league in the cup this year, I am sure you will do OK next year.
