Hello!

Not long moved to Sheffield and am interested in doing some singing gigs either as a piano/vocal duo or with backing tracks.... any ideas who is best to approach clutching my demo?

The Porter Brook on Ecclesall Road has an sunday night spot for singers/musicians. Max of 2 people I think. Karen is the manageress.

Not sure about the Sheffield branch but I know that Pizza Express in other cities have live singers/pianists. It's on Division Street.

And there's a Pizza Express in Meadowhall as well, in the Oasis.

No there's actually a Pizza Express, I know cos Dad and I were in there last Friday lunch time, it's the big building that used to be the Rock and Roll Diner or something way back when the Oasis first opened.

have you thought about working mens clubs? they are good money and very busy. if your any good you could get a hell of a lot of bookings. sorry i dont have contact info..just a mate who does it in a rock band and makes a living out of it.

I'm running a buskers night in Ecclesfield, bring your backing tracks along and do your show, if you do have your own equipment hopefully a night could be arranged, if not at that venue, then maybe I can sort one... pm me, or add to this post

can you give me some more details? Am i right in thinking i wouldnt need my PA for the buskers night? Just my tracks? How many songs etc? when is it?
