Division street has a real buzz to it.......parked down that way on Saturday to stroll around the shops, Rocky Horror, Forum, etc, and it was a hive of throngs of skaters and rock-chicks........it was terrific, what a vibe. Hundreds of happy people all beaming.....What a fantastic part of town that is now.....alternative shops and what i would call the modern equivalent of "head" shops....it KICKED. I really must get a skateboard and not grow old at all.....

then went down the Moor.....poundland......chavs and tracksuits.....dire....

whilst it is a nice atmosphere around that area its full of rip-off poseur shops. Its just the latest "fashion" craze. Rocky Horror used to be cool before it moved years back. The Forum used to have some cool shops. Anyone remember the Poster Shop?

OK, so it's poserish, but at least it shows that us Sheffielders aren't all northern chavs. And there are some decent bars and shops. What's happened to the upstairs of the forum, though?
When the forum first opened there were little stalls where the cafe is and people sold handmade goods. They should bring it back and charge a few pounds for running a stall. Why let the upstairs go to waste?
If you're looking for a bargain, division street isn't he place to go, apart from The Wonderful Fopp.

I thought they were turning upstairs into a pool/snooker hall?

They've been supposedly doing that for ages - being that I haven't been for a while though I have no idea if they ever got anywhere with it?!
