To post this I'm having to use someone elses laptop. Mine is changing between maximize & minimize very quickly. I have tried system restore but it tells me that it didn't work because it found an error. Can anyone help please, I know very little about computers, so please explain in laymans terms.

Thank you.

how do you mean it's rapidl changing? You mean it moves to the taskbar too fast? or that it doesn;t maximise to the full size of the screen

I'm  too. It seems to be swapping between maximize and minimize very fast, so it appears to be flashing, first it's on max then min and so on. It's hard to discribe when you're a dummy like me.

The whole screen seems to be "twitching" - jerking up and down, very rapidly.

Is there a key on the keyboard to do this? (I haven't got a laptop, so don't know). If so, is it stuck?

Hi maggi, after you posted, I went to look at the keys and started pressing the keys, especially those that I don't really know what they do, and it seems to have stopped flashing, so fingers crossed, it might be ok now.

Thank you.

I can't remember which key I pressed last, but it's still working. None of the keys were stuck down, so, it might have been a bit of dirt that was causing the problem. I used the vac on it, with a soft brush attachment.

Thanks for your help.
