Thought it was highly annoying! The music was too loud and to make it worse, the DJ's couldn't mix!

what time were you there? i'm assuming your second comment is blatant spite because you found it too loud.

All of the dj's who played are highly talented and i think it is great themselves and ourselves are having the chance to push different electronic music in sheffield. Sheffield has been dominated for far too long by trance and drum n bass..

give it a chance mate.

As a Club Promoter/ DJ / Producer I would have thought he/they would have been ideally suited to criticising a gig of this nature.

you would think so - but the hard house scene and the scene we are trying to push couldn't be more different.

Irrespective of the type of music surely it's still a valid criticism to say the music was too loud and the DJs less than acceptable?

Ok i don't mind a bit of healthy debate.

I personally don't think it was too loud. We checked regulations with the Council and with local businesses and everything was fine. We did actually turn the system down as the day wore on.

On the subject of dj's being less than acceptable - well it is all down to personal opinion and whether you like the musical style.

I was there all day and have perfect hearing. On the whole the dj's were great, and showcased some great music.

There were a few hiccups - but at least that shows we are human, not a corporate machine like another Sheffield big club.

Come down on Saturday and see what we are all about

It's only £3 B4 11pm/£5 afterwards and we have cheap drinks on offer...

See you at the Rave Dome..

We actually enjoy all types of music, so we have no criticism there. But the mixing wasn't very good. We aren't being nasty or malicious, but after 14 years DJing all over the world, and promoting clubs all over the UK and running a DJ agency (where we are sent approx 200 demos per week), we know how a mix should sound.

I thought the music sounded excellent. I'm usually too spannered to comment on the quality of mixing etc! (When the music stops and the lights come on, it's time to go home)

What night's are you playing and where is it...?
