I know!!!
A long haired white kitten. that is all that the lady said. I felt really sorry for them all because she seemed like she was just in it for the money. If it wasnt for having to keep the money i have saved aside for injections/food/toys etc then i would have had them all.
I have my tiny little darling at the side of me right now which is rather different from him jumping all over the keyboard which he has been doing !!!

I know the lady who owns the pet shop and she really does look after the animals she has in the shop well. I think the shop is one of the only ones left that can have kittens for sale and I am sure the council would revoke her license if they felt that the animals were not looked after well when in the shop. I personally dont think that kittens should be for sale in shops because there are so many in rescues, although if I am honest my first kitten came from the shop because we were looking for a specific colour and there were not any in the local rescues at the time.

£95.00 is a lot for any kitten! can't say I would pay that much but people obviously will for specific types / colours etc, she is running a business after all and has bills etc to pay the same as the rest of us.

For your £95 do you get vaccinations, spay/neuter voucher, microchipping, wormer or flea treatment?

You get all of those for £65 through most of the rescue centres.

Maybe she was just having a bad day then. It just seemed like she was in a pretty grumpy mood, thats all lol
Sorry if i offended
and no, i dont think you did get anything, i think that that was just for the kitty itself. Im not denying he/she was gorgeous!!! I just couldnt really afford £95!

exactly, this is why I wouldn't consider paying as much as she was asking for! I would always recommend people go to shelters, I only bought my kitten as I was looking for a specific colour / markings that I couldnt get from any of the shelters at the time we were looking.

there are worst places to buy from hun at least they will have been checked whereas if you just buy them from a house they could have anything

Well thats true ....in one sense, but just because the shop is checked does not make the kittens disease free, they are probably more likely to fall ill due to the stress of being put there, often to young to leave their mothers, and because of mixing of litters (if indeed they do that).
I would never buy a puppy or kitten from a pet shop because in my opinion it causes the animal great distress all in the name of profit and should be stopped.
I am not talking about any particular pet shop just in general terms.

Our cat has been missing for nine days now :sad::sad:
Still keep looking for him and hoping he will come home.
The kids keep saying can we have another one :(
I will get them another if he doesn't come home soon and if he does come home (hope so) then we'll have two :)

Have you contacted all the shelters etc? Were you insured because they usually cover printing costs for flyers etc. I hope you're not going to pay £200 for a moggie that person is advertising! I got mine £100 for two (three years ago) at the Sheffield Cats Shelter inc neuter, flea-ed, wormed and vaccinated. Don't be ripped off!

Well we won't be paying that much !! Ours was just a tabby 'moggy' but he is very much loved and missed.
If I see any advertised nearby I shall get the kids another as they keep on at me but hopefully he may come back :|

Well I once had a cat who went missing for about six weeks and turned up hungry and as if nothing was wrong  so I'm still hoping he will turn up safe soon :(

Hope he turns up soon :) it is ' that' time of year for cats to go walk-about, so you never know.

As for paying £200 for a cat because it might be 25% of a breed is insane, most reputable breeders of pure pedigree Maine Coone cats sell pet kittens for around £350 with paperwork and insurance, having a half breed cat and breeding it to make a profit hardly goes towards advancing the breed standard.
