Does anyone remember Assylum? It was the first punk clothes shop in the north outside Manchester. It was on Eccleshall Rd on the corner with Summerfield street. It was above a metal detector shop and sold punk clothing. It was only opoen fro a few months. Me and a mate went in and were in awe of the clothes and the Sex Pistols bootleg. This was in the summer of 1977. Did anyone else go there? Did you open it?
