I have tried to upload a file to photo bucket .I clicked on “Choose files” on the pb site. I then clicked on one of my folders where the file is that I want to upload. Instead of seeing all the files in that folder I see nothing.

Maybe if the file was on its own IE not in a folder it would probably work ok. I tried this with a music file just to test and PB started to upload it.

Why is this and what is the workaround?

The new uploader in Photobucket restricts you to a range of Image & Video file types.

Perhaps your file types are not recognised.

Look at the bottom of the box that has the button for "Choose files" and you will see "old uploader".
That still has an "all files" option when looking for your images.

Does that make any difference?
What file type are the images that you want to upload?

Hello-they are not images. I wanted to test the uploading system with a word doc prior to passing on the link to someone (who wants to get an instruction file to me relating to inverters.) I am not sure why they cannot email me with an attachement though.

I did not want to suggest photo bucket until i had tried it out. I tried it out and encountered the probs as discussed.

There are other file sharing sites that can do this for you.
