Have a word with them. You never know they may take some notice and turn it down.

I have had this same experience earlier this year. Was living in a 1-bed townhouse and the noise (it's not fit to be called music) was bursting through the house from the car parked in next doors drive. Yes, it was the bass that got to me also.

No point in trying to say anything to people like that as they usually only think about themselves only - hence the extremely loud thumping 'noise'.

I'm a professional musician and I'm always considerate of my neighbours. I generally use headphones when practicing bass, I know how these frequencies travel!
My father in law had a problem with his neighbour who was very unsympathetic to his pleas to turn down his loud, crap music. The only answer was to turn red, go round and lift him off the floor by his neck. He didn't hear the music again and the man left within three days!
I'm not saying this IS the way to go though Dan!
