Hi All past 3am and cant sleep, memories of the past are keeping me awake, some good and others not

Does anyone remember uncle Ernie and aunty Pat? What happened to them? Where did they go? :huh: For some reason i have the name Winters in my head but that may not be correct

At school once a year we used to have a punch and judy show produced by uncle Ernie and aunty Pat (not real aunty and uncle). We all called them aunty and uncle as a mark of respect. They also made baloon animals and hats. I remember being very excited on the days they came and not doing any work so it must have been christmas or end of the summer term before the 6 week hollidays.
I know this is a long shot because im talking about 35 years ago but i would love to know what happened to them and what they did since then.

Wow i think you may have just refreshed my memory also. I totally forgot all about them untill now. i was 7 years old in 89 and remember them.

well that tells me that they continued at least 10 years after i saw them.
His name may have been Bernie and not Ernie as i was thinking last night which could explain why i had Winters in my head because of Bernie Winters who is not the same person.

Its strange how past memories come back unexpected. Im going to start and write a few of my memories down so that in the future i can read them with a smile. It has taken me 35 years to remember them and it would be a shame for them to be forgot after they created so much fun for me as a child and im sure many others
