A bottle of wine at Old Vicarage £45 ......
Then on our way out passed us a wine list to purchase bottles for home and the same bottle we had drunk in there was on for just £16

You'd be even more upset when you found it in Tescos for £7.99 on offer.
Wine in restaurants is always horrendously marked up.

£115 bottle of chapagne. I didn't buy! but some contractors I worked with did. I can't say I noticed much difference from the normal £20-£30 pound bottles. Also got bought a very nice brandy that was £35 a measure.

Bought a single straight vodka in Equinox on Leicester Square several years ago now for about £4.20.

Think that was probably the most expensive!

I'll add mine now, bottle of Dom at £100 and another one that I've forgotten the brand at the same.
To be honest, it is only slightly nicer than a £30 bottle.

I love champagne but have heard the cheap is as good as the expensive.
