Good Friday is a strange day. It is a bank holiday yet the shops are open, some work in industry, some dont. When I was younger the only shops open were wet fish shops as everybody ate fish on Good Friday, but I digress.
My wheelie bin collection is Friday, and everybody along the normal Friday route have their bins ready for collection. Now I understand that the Friday collection was completed yesterday, Thursday. If this is correct then I have spoken to people and none have had notification. If, by any chance, it was in the Star myself, and others are not regular Star readers.Perhaps somebody from Onyx could clarify.
While we are on the subject, walk thru the bottom end of Crookes and note the number of blue bins left out for collection, a collection that never seems to arrive. I have had mine out over and over with no collection. Perhaps somebody from Onyx can also clarify the collection dates this year for these.
