im looking for a good takeaway that would deliver to woodseats/abbey lane.
we've been ordering from a place called curry tonight, but really have had enough of their tasteless food!!

ps their food isnt anything special but gotta give them credit for their delivery service, always on time without a doubt

Used to use Jaipur at Greehill but not been too hot (in all senses) of late. Currently ordering from Balti Ghar (Totley Rise) and they seem pretty reliable and always busy which ain't a bad sign.

You don't need to look any further than the New India Garden on Chesterfield Road at Woodseats.

Food quality is excellent and they deliver.

They've just launched a new menu too!

Enjoy.

Gotta be Vindaloo....and I too can recommend balti Ghar. One of the few places to actually provide potato in the afore-mentioned dish....I have it on good authority that 'aloo' means 'with potato'

Also, Dil Shads at woodseats is really really nice but I dont think they deliver. Its near dominos. Well worth collecting it. And dont be put off by the unkept exterior. Its a favourite after-pub dining place...nuff said!

It's all good stuff at the New India Garden.

Whatever you usually order, just try it from the NIG.

The plain nans are superb, by the way.

Another vote here for New India Garden.

The main reason is the chicken is the best I have tasted in Sheffield and I have tried many.

Portions are genorous as well.

Look, just try one of the Chef's specials at 'Memories of Kashmir' in Hillsborough. It's quality indian food.

In fact, don't try one try a few. Kari Gosht is the first I'd recommend. Even the banana chicken is great.

Btw, they deliver and the phone no. is 2855551.

The specials come with rice or naan, special naan (also known as Peschwari)

True you don't know me, but I live in the area and for a great takeaway, I'd recommend Woodseats Tandoori - fresh ingredients and on the whole, the food's good. Occasionally, I've been disappointed with a dish from there, but the same can be said for meals I've had from Dilshad, IMO. They're on Chesterfield Road, opposite Threshers (perfect!)

My partner, a complete curry monster (and shareholder I believed to both New Indian Garden and Tak Dir) recommends a CHICKEN TIKKA SAAG if you want it hot you can ask for Madras Hot.

Iam abit of a puff when it comes to curry and lurve their tikka masala.

Everything they serve is the same shade of brown no matter what you order!

I have taken to ordering from Munir Balti House, its on Justeat.co.uk ever since Momtaz closed, the best eat in is Shapla, pity they don't deliver!

That's because they don't use food clouring
Most curries are suppose to be brown? Ps if u like ur food spicier ask for it asain style!
