Watford Or Palace of losing their last 2 matches and UTD Winning?

2 final wins would take us to 69Points

Watford are currently on 69 Palace on 68

still going to take a large miracle for the blades to get into the playoffs- it could happen, but it probably won't.

no point getting your hopes up just to be dissapointed.

Watford's next game is home to Scunthorpe. Scrub Watford from the list. :D

Palace are away to Hull, and home to Burnley. Not impossible to lose both of those. Hull might have been abysmal on Saturday, but they got into the top two somehow or other. It wasn't by losing every game.

Ipswich away to Preston and home to Hull. Same goes.

If we go into the last game needing a win for a chance of a playoff spot, but Southampton needing a win to relegate the Owls. .. who will you be rooting for?

if that happens then any NORMAL person would support the blades and want them to win!!!

Although if we do loose against bristol (which i have a sneaky suspicion that we might) then i think we should put a team of kids out against southampton- to give them expeirence of course ;)

What's normal round here? We have a lot of people who say they're Blades fans but spend more time talking about the Owls, thus proving they aren't; and vice versa as well.

Scunthorpe beat Cardiff 3-2 on saturday so anything is possible.

I wouldn't say there not blades fans, i would just say that there focus is misguided and they should be spending more time looking at s2 rather than peering over at s6.

so you would rather wednesday go down than united go up??

We got relegated in a similar way last season.
It is all down to the pressure.
We have got a focal pioint ie 2 wins a bit like Wigan.
The other teams just need a point or two something they should get but you never know.
There is one thing i would like to add and that is if we did get to the play offs i would fancy our chances as we have forward momentum at the moment.

How is that proving anything?

Are we only allowed to talk about Blades otherwise we're considered Owls?

Poor comment mate.

Mis-read the post, yeah southampton IF UTD aren't in with a chance of the playoffs

You even need to ask? If you spend more time concerned with the Owls than the Blades, you're an Owls fan, not a Blades fan. That's basic elementary logic.

I talk a lot about other clubs, doesn't make me a fan of any of them.

I am a fan of the Blades.

Which of the words didn't you understand? It's kind of hard to write it any simpler.

If you care more about one club than another club, then you're a fan of the first club, not the second.

Since when has me not having any money had any relevance whatsoever to which team somebody else supports? :loopy:

It seems heyesey you are only bothered about arguing all the time and picking people up on mistakes etc.
Why cant you talk about the topic for a change?
Anyway back to thread, what are the odds on United getting in to the playoffs?
20-1 ? worth a tenner me thinks if thats what they are.

here we go again no money blah blah blah. stop putting leccy money in to run your free pc and save up to go to a game. i told you about the middlesbrough game and united giving 7,000 free tickets away and you still did'nt go. you've never been a blade matey.

Just because you talk about a club doesn't mean you care more about them.

You never stated about caring for any clubs. You stated

"We have a lot of people who say they're Blades fans but spend more time talking about the Owls, thus proving they aren't; and vice versa as well."

We may well talk about the Owls more than the Blades (I doubt it mind) but if that is the case, its because Wednesday are currently more newsworthy, ie suing fans, raising ticket prices, being relegated.

As I say, if you TALK about another team it doesn't mean you're one of their fans.

Just to interrupt the bickering, here is the oddschecker page (http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/coca-cola-championship/promotion) on promotion to the Premiership, and United are best priced 100/1 with Totesport.

Actually you are right in one respect as i didn't read your posts on this thread.
After examining your posts though heyesey suprise, suprise what did i find.
You have posted so far 6 times on this thread and out of them only once have you said something that has not been argumentative or insulting in some way .
By the way nice touch you calling me a moron didn't know you cared.
P.S cheers HH for the info on our odds to reach the prem worth a tenner of anyone's money

To be honest FD, that site can be a little inaccurate at times, but I know the Bet365 price is right, as of now. There aren't any prices just to reach the play-offs, but 100/1 is probably how I'd describe our chances of going up ....... but never say die ........

I knew the odds would be long but you never know.
I just hope that the set up at the lane can be kept as it is now, with the team, Blackwell etc.
A few new faces is it all it needs and we should be up there, fingers crossed.
