Does anyone know who makes Vodafone own brand mobiles? I fancy the 810 which looks like real value for money but I'm SO used to how my Nokia's have worked (texting in particular) that I have developed a loyalty. Any clues or experience anyone?

Vodafone phones are made either by Sagem or Samsung.


I was told (from a very reliable source) that the 810 model is not good. The software is constantly failing on them.


My source tells me a phone such as Samsung E900 (in the same price range) is much more reliable for instance.

Sony Ericcson make Vodafone branded phones as well, I've got one.. Ordinarily I'd refuse on principle to have a Sony product, but it was either that or wait 2 weeks for a Nokia when I had to claim a new phone on my insurance a while back.
