I think the UV tattoos were found to be very unsafe, so I'll be suprised if anyone (reputable) does them.

There's a place on the corner of Middlewood Rd/Wadsley Lane that will do all sorts of freaky stuff to you (Van Shaicks or something I think it's called).

I'm no expert on this but perhaps you could give them a try.

we are currently looking into the medical implications of these tattoos, and have been for some time. if they are proved to be safe and are approved by the health and safety regulations here in sheffield then we will be doing them.

the reason we are not doing them now despite the fact that the inks are readily available is because we *are* reputable.
if you want updating in the future of our progress please feel free to PM me
hope this helps

Everything in that sentence seems so very wrong to me.

UV inks have been rumoured to be carcinogenic, and can often cause a reaction similar to that caused by old-fashioned red ink such as a burning/itching sensation. Doing an image search on the internet will show that results using these inks are patchy at best, even when used by fantastic artists.

In my opinion, much more development and testing is needed on these inks before they are made available for use on the public. Litha and her studio are taking a very sensible approach to it all, and I personally would steer clear of it for a good while yet.
