Who's been watching this then? Do you think it's as good as, better than or worse than the first series?

Is it just me or is Ava's son really creepy?! I'd probably be a bit disturbed if my Mum was sleeping with a guy the same age as me but he gives me the creeps! I might be way off here but does anyone else think he might be the "Carver" rapist guy? :suspect:

What happened to Mat's mate who was in the car with him when they hit the girl? Was he in prison for attacking/raping the girl they hit?

I'm watching it and loving it, except the lengthy and much more detailed surgery scenes. How is it that they are guaranteed to have at least one, normally 2 gruesome scenes each show? Yak. I'm sure the first series was less surgery based.
Ava's son is deeply weird and when he jumped on Matt in his bedroom I hadn't expected it, though I did expect him to blow the story about Ava and Matt.
Yep, Matt's mate was locked up and going wild when Matt went to visit but we seem to have lost th story line, except when Matt tells Ava.
( I sound like a soap freak, this is tragic!)
I think the 'real father' story line is going to be great as it unfolds.
I'm a total addict! It's the only programme I watch every week.

I thought they had quite a few gross, stomach churning surgery scenes in the first series too. I'm sure I remember cringing quite a bit during the first series as well!

I was quite taken aback by Ava's son (what is his name?!) trying to kiss Matt too. I wasn't expecting that! So Matt says "Woah, I'm not gay" and Ava's son says "Neither am I". Eh?! What's going on then?!

Poor Sean will be devasted if/when he finds out that Matt's not his son... I'm waiting with bated breath for that storyline to develop.

I keep seeing clips of Ava and Julia kissing. Have I missed something? Given that Ava has been sleeping with Julia's son and Julia is horrified at finding this out I can't imagine how the two of them are going to end up kissing!

(PS. I haven't watched last Sunday's episode yet so please don't reveal anything just yet!).

Oh my god! So Julia couldn't take the guilt any longer! I hadn't expected it to come out quite that quick. I thought they might drag it on a little bit longer. I had a few hand over mouth moments too! "Oh no, she's going to tell him!!".

I'm completely hooked. It's the best thing on the box at the moment (along with Desperate Housewives!).

Ok, was it just me or was the Ava and son Oedipus complex thing becoming obvious?
What on earth would have possessed Matt to stay in such a psycho household?
I reckon Sean and Julia will resolve their issues and the relationship will be for the better, perhaps with Julia becoming bigger in the work storyline.

And surely Christian is going to have a baby with someone else?
There's been a lot of recent cliffhangers at the endof each episode and it's very gripping.

I think the latest season of Nip/Tuck is great, it's good how the characters are developing.

I am not keen on the carver storyline however I think the way they are putting the storyline forward is good. I am watching the series finale now on Sky+ and can not wait to see how it all ends and what cliff hangers they are going to leave us with!

Well well well, I don't think Christian expected to get it in the neck (or face, we'll have to wait and see).
Ava, well, there wasn't much more to do with the storyline, I think, she had done all the damage most people manage in a lifetime. I felt the transexual thing was a little overstretched but it dealt with her and that dreadful son.
Joan Rivers and a Baldwin brother, obviously the budget was good for a finale and good fun to watch.
So, who's the carver?
And how long until the next series?
