I am looking for a quality bakery in Sheffield that offers high quality produce & some more unusual breads (ciabattas/herb breads etc)?
I am looking for a new cafe bar operation so if anyone can reccomend a supplier?
Cheers
if its for quality and you are going down the best goods best prices avenue then try Lillys bakery on Penistone road near to SHeffield Wednesday ground to see if they will supply you, they ahve all the range of breads and quality. Also worht a call has to be Brook Bakery they are at wincobank area somewhere and do some good products.
Lots of the little bakerys that did the range of fancy breads and confec went under because of the market mentality of 3 dozen bread rolls for a pound and then found that the market traders never paid the bills, also the supermarket instore bakerys also reduced many of the indpendant bakerys to close their doors.
depends were you are in south yorkshire but Barnsley ahs a good bakery called fosters that might also be worht checking out.

There is great bakery in Walkley. Can't rememebr the name, but it's located in the old bank on Howard Road. Their cakes are to die for!
