A thought just occured to me.....are ex directory numbers 'secure' now everbody and their uncle can have access to listed numbers in the free for all with directory enquiries.

I say this because I am ex directory and have lately been having lots of cold calls for double glazing, new kitchens etc.

Try registering your number with the Telephone Preference Service (http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tpsr/html/default.asp). We noticed a big reduction in cold calls after a couple of weeks.
