cgksheff 06-04-2005, 19:49 Didn't you say that stags, hens and wedding guests were all rolled together with the honeymoon?

Yup!
Clay pigeon shooting, quadbiking, archery, air rifle shooting on Good Friday, followed by a meal in the hotel in the evening with our own section of the dining room. Distillery tour and walk to micro brewery on Saturday.
Sunday the main event - all guests invited to the whole thing and the meal served as a hot buffet to remove the uncomfortable bit of 'silver service'. After the usual disco and when many relatives had sloped off to bed, our DJ resorted to his more familiar play list and the air guitars came out :headbang:
It was all very laid back and relaxed - not the usual peak of politics and emotions that weddings tend to be. We knew we'd hit the right spot when three different people asked if we could do it all again next year!
We spent a few days afterwards winding down and walking Brude before coming home
Birth-Peace 07-04-2005, 09:31 Thank you very much.
We had a gorgeous day. It was super
We too had a lovely wedding day followed by a few days in York (Grange Hotel).
Had 7 days of drinking Champs in the evenings, Rib-eye steak and eggs for breakfast in a morning, loads of shopping etc.
Thank you all for your best wishes.. :)

Congratulations Viking :)
I love York! Mr Strix lived there for 6 months whilst we were relocating up here. It is a bit 'other world' ish. (We decided Sheffield suited us better though  )
