Assuming it is actually him, (ive never been "down" with his films), he must be running really low in money to appear in an advert for damn cheap clothes with a puppet dog and sheep. I do think its quite funny but you gotta feel sorry for the fella!!

He certainly doesn't need the money. Maybe he just liked the campaign. Jackie is well known for having a wicked sense of humour and generally being a good all round guy.

Ohh okay. I just thought he was skint.
I wonder how woolworths approached him;
"urm, Mr Chan, would you be interested in coming and pretending to beat up a couple of stuffed animals.."

Perhaps they gave him five minutes alone with the pick'n'mix? :love:

That would buy me, I'll be honest:hihi:

I thought I was on a bad trip when I first saw that advert. It was rather random and I was left stunned by what I had just seen. Surreal doesnt begin to describe it :D

You're not this (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BRslER-jilE&feature=related) guy are you?

Why feel sorry for the fella, he's done more with his life than many. I bet Woolies paid him lots too.

I did a double-take when I saw that Woolies advert. I couldn't believe Jackie Chan was in it. I suppose it's no different from Hollywood stars going to Japan and starring in terrible adverts for millions of dollars... although I doubt Woolies paid him that much.

Maybe he can have as much Pic 'N Mix as he likes for free for the next year?

You can download some pics of them at the bottom of this press release (http://www.woolworthsmediacentre.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=81&Itemid=33). I love the following quote :

The ads were created by London-based agency BBH. Matt Waller, creative director at BBH, says: "Jackie brought the magic of Hollywood. Wooly and Worth bought the Pic ‘n’ Mix. For us, it was a match made in heaven."
