(no, it's not a programme about my ego:hihi:)

Just thought I would let people know about this programme. It's about construction, architecture and design. So far we've had sky scrapers, airports, bridges. Tonight is ships I think.

This is probably one of the best things on TV in years, yet I haven't spoken to one single person who has seen it

Probably because it's on 5, and lets face it, Channel 5 is pants. :hihi:

;)

(I'm off to work now, so it's on video for later)

I heard it was the last episode last night.

The series has been good, but there are far too many recaps which spoil it.

Yeah, I believe it was the last one :(

I didn't think I would have been interested in aircraft carriers, but it was hard not to be, looking at the stats that went alongside it.

20 years between 'refuelling' :o :hihi:

Hopefully they'll repeat it. I think I've seen 4 of them, but I would think a series would have been 6.

Channel 5 have some good documentaries. Things like Megastructures & there was also one that followed different companies who specialised in moving huge things over long distances (IE, moving a church or a house from one side of America to the other.)

I really like those kind of programmes, National Geographic channel is very good for that sort of stuff.

I saw the skyscrapers one, which was really interesting, but I thought the CGI was a bit over the top. By the end I was feeling a bit nauseous with all that diving up and around and in and out of virtual buildings!

Monster Moves is on tonight on Channel 5 at 8pm - they are moving a restaurant and some farm buildings. My favourite one was the town in Sweden that they are moving to stop it sliding inside a mine :)

Shame that was the last Big Bigger Biggest - the one last week with the Japanese bridge was amazing. I loved it when they showed the 100 or so workers swaying from side to side to test the earthquake-dampening equipment :P
