Hi

We bought our toddler a rabbit a few weeks ago from a private seller. He is lovely and doing really well, but we just have a couple of queries:
A. Can anyone reccommed a good vet in the woodhouse, S13 area? we just want to get him checked over and have his nails filed / cut (any idea how much this is likely to cost?)
B. Although we spend lots of time with him we think he may be lonely when we are at work in the day. We were contemplating getting another rabbit to put with him to keep him company, is this a good idea (will it cause issues / will they fight?) ? He is a 4 month old dwarf rabbit and we would be looking to get another the same.

Any advice much appreciated.
claire :)

I can only recommend peak vets in Woodseats for rabbits. Have you had him vacinated for myximatosis and VHD.?
If you are getting him a female he will need neuting so as not add to the rabbit population.
if you want more advice pm sooz22 she is brillient at bonding bunnies and will give some fab advice.Happy Hoppers Rabbit Rescue contact: Suzanne on...

I can second both of these people! Sooz was fantastic when I was looking for a bunny (but it wasn't the right time in the end :() And recently, I found a little bun on rabbit rehome (turns out he's from Barnsley rescue) and he's being neutered today so I can bring him home soon.

Both fantastic ladies who really know their bunnies :D
