I've already got me tickets!

I think that the Sunday lineup is a bit weak at the moment but there's loads still to be announced.

Apparently Iron Maiden are only going to only be playing songs from their first four albums which I'm well happy about!

There are day tickets - they're £60 and don't include camping.

6th year in a row, i'm there.

I should stop saying 'i will only go if the lineup is good' now because i go regardless!

I'm thinkin about going with me brother on the sunday. I love the Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon and The Charlatans. I went last year but not sure whether I can afford it this year.

not enough of my fav bands for me to bother going this year... I'm thinking of going to Download festival instead... its lineup looks a lot better from my point of view :D

I was thinking about Download as well - there's some great bands on there this year. I came to the conclusion that 3 solid days of rock would probably get a bit wearing though, so Leeds won because of the variety (comedy tent etc).

The line-up this year is VERY disappointing.

The line-up is average. Mostly bands I'm sick of seeing. Too much of this Killers-style crap.

The price is stupid...and so are those who pay it.

And you've come to this conclusion how exactly?

At the moment there's only about a third of the bands announced, by the time the bill is full the price will work out around £1 per act. Add in 3 day's camping, the comedy tent, the fairground and all the other bits and bobs and you can hardly say it's not good value for money.

To be fair, last year I thought it was going to be rubbish, but then, I got to see: Jurassic 5, Reel Big Fish, Goldie Lookin Chain ( I know, I thought that too, but they rocked!) DJ Numark, DJ Format, Roots Manuva and 2ManyDJs, all in the same day. I was a very, very happy bean. Although my cheeks hurt by the end of it ;)

Good value for money? What about the hidden charges, p&p, handling, camping this year. Also the facilities are poor, the beer is expensive, and you can't take your own in, on the main stage, you're about 20 feet away from the bands.

I could go on but i won't.

No P&P or handling charge if you buy direct from a Mean Fiddler venue - at any rate you can hardly blame fees that agents charge on the festival organisers. Camping is included in the ticket price so I don't get your point there. You can take your own beer in to the campsite and beer in the arena is only the same price as a nightclub, expensive but not unreasonable. And if you go to the Leadmill and stand near the back you'll be 40ft away from the bands.

Do you actually have any valid points?

If you go to the Leadmill and stand at the back, that's your choice!

A Mean Fiddler Venue eh? Where's that in Sheffield?

£3 a pint anywhere is unreasonable. Nightclub or otherwise.

Oh yes, and the fact that they sell things that tell you when the bands are on. They definately should be included in the ticket price.

Well done!

So what is your point exactly ?

What is your next argument going to be about ?

Sprouts ~ You could eat them if you wanted, but you won`t because ..............

To be honest - it is a bit of a commercial scam. However, its great for a good weekend with your mates, camping, getting drunk and falling about, listening to lots of bands and running around with wild abandon.

So theres two sides to every coin.

Sprouts are cheap, nutritious and tasty.

Look, if you think that Leeds festival is good value, go along. Just voicing my opinion. That's what the forums for.

No hard feelings.

I went last year and apart from the security herdsmanship (what a joke), It was a scream with a fab lineup.

Still undecided about this year, there are some acts that I fancy for sure though!
