why do people ask for your address postcode mobile number,
then arrange a day and time only not to bother to show up or even text or pm you to let you know???

all weekend iv been waiting for someone to turn up,only not to bother even replying to my pm's,
waste of space:rant:

I'd write to The Daily Mail, if I were you. Start a campaign against them.

Watch their sales threads, offer to buy it (whatever it is) & don't turn up

I always thought it was so they could call you a few weeks later on your mobile, find out if you were out the house and then come and rob you.

dont worry, it happened to me last week re: the room i have to rent- id rushed home to get housework done after work (with a hangover still) and the person didnt turn up and didnt bother to let me know they werent coming.

it is very frustrating but unfortunately it is quite common.

Ony prob with that is the total scam artists, like those who take your console, put a hold on their payment faking problems that you know 100% it hadn't got, send you nasty emails stating they have no intention of giving either back etc..........Or those who send a cheque weeks after winning an item, ask the next day Why haven't I got my item yet???

There are Plebs no matter where you go or what you do, annoying to the extreme, but part of life sad to say!

It's even more annoying when you're actually giving the stuff away on FreeCycle!!

I've had few problems - most people are lovely and turn up when they say they will - but I've had one or two who've asked for stuff then just never got back to me, despite e-mails, to say they've changed their minds!

Very frustrating when you have other people who've contacted you who really do want the item.

i had the same last week on freecycle im always waiting for them to collect, then when they dont you have the hassle of offering it to the next on the list, lol
