:rolleyes: What do you think that in a forum of over 10,000 users, at least one of them will be called Emma? I think you could do with some more clues; surnames, approximate ages, area they lived etc!

Have you tried the Freinds Reunited website?

FRIEND JOINED FRIENDS REUNITED LAST YEAR AND THOUGH HE ANSWERED LOTS OF FOLKS HE NEVER GOT A REPLY..SEEMS THAT EVEN THOSE YOU EMAIL HAVE TO BE PAID UP FULL MEMBERS TOO!!! OR YOU DONT HEAR ANYTHING.I WONDER WHY THEY ALLOW YOU TO ADD YOUR NAME FOR FREE IF NO ONE CAN CONTACT YOU UNLESS BOTH PARTIES ARE YEAR LONG MEMBERS...SO HES WASTED A YEARS MEMBERSHIP! :loopy:

one person he tried to contact through friends reunited was on the group didnt even know! and they are mates!!! so unless all parties concerned are paid up members no one can reply to the other..a rip off!!!!:rant:

That isn't true. My mate has paid the membership and he sent me an email through friends reunited and i recieved it although i hadn't paid the membership.

I have also recieved an email from a paid-up member of the website in question even though I have never been paid-up myself. Whether you actually want the emails is another thing altogehter!

Okay lets see.
A) Did your friend who sent the message have their email address entered correctly?
B) Did the friend being contacted have their email address entered correctly?
If either email was wrong then it wouldn't really work (though i'm not sure now everyone has a "Message Centre".

I've had people send me a message using the site, it includes (or did, maybe it doesn't now) the email address of that person. You should be able to email them direct.
