The bearded master of the musical cosmos returns and wowser does this guy bring the party! On Tom Middleton’s last visit to Sheffield the legend was feeling such a great buzz from the crowd as he tore the roof off DQ, that he played on for an extra 2 hours!! A set that has gone down as one of the best in Sheffield clubbing history takes some beating, but if anyone can do it it’s our man Middleton.

Tom Middleton has spent his life immersed in music, joining the musical dots between myriad styles and drawing out some of the most ridiculous moments in music to create an inspired, incomparable, party-rocking mashup. He has been a constant mover and shaker on the electronic music scene over the last 20 years, from early experimentation alongside Aphex Twin, through adventures in ambience and bass with fellow Jedi Knight, Mark Pritchard, through to exploring full on dancefloor hedonism through his Cosmos alias.

But inspite of this deep and meaningful pedigree, what Tom spends most of his time investigating, is what inspires people to dance. He is one of the most flagrant, fantastical, and downright fun DJs on the planet, as anyone who has seen one of his flamboyant and floorrocking sets at BUG / UG will happily attest.

Joining him is Sheffield’s master of eclecticism and one third of the awesome Tuesday Club residents team, Stoaty. Basically if it’s a quality record that’s been out in the last century this lad has it. Expect everything from funk and soul through to drum and bass and dubstep with dollops of hip hop, broken beat, reggae etc etc in between. Come down and feel the noise.

And upstairs in room 2 we’ve been promised an ‘exclusive super special back to back session’ from Urban Gorilla residents, Jonny Townsend and Adam Connal. Now we’re not 100% certain what the boys have in mind, but their awesome sets at Urban Gorilla over the years alongside the likes of Evil Nine, Timo Maas, Plump DJs, Dave Clarke and James Zabiela have never disappointed and, quite frankly, they could turn up with a couple of shoe boxes and some rubber bands and set the dancefloor alight. So trust us, this really is going to be super special!!

Now if this double headed monster of a night doesn’t get you salivating then check your pulse, you’re probably dead.
