yer,,,
it went thru a brgood period, now all hells let loose

last 4 times ive been,,,

2nd hand pickle tray with other peoples popadoms in it
watered down drinks

a waiter who couldnt understand or talk english

wet seats, due to sombody spilling drink (i hope it was drink)

very small portions of curry,,very small

every curry seemed to taste the same,,ive been eatin curries 20 yrs,u know,,so we get to know wot we like,,,

from mild to vindaloo,same taste
ask for tikka curry,,get normal chicken

as if they only do one sauce and universalise it

good god,,,

the main worry is the ignorant staff
TONY HUSSAIN,THE OWNER IS VERY POLITE

HE KNOWS ME ON ALMOST FIRST NAME TERMS NOW,,,AS I GO A LOT,,

when he is there, the waiter service is goood

if he is out, expect to be treat really badly

it was very good,,whats changing??

seems to me the chef not the same too

cos i started goin last yr and it was ok

then settled to once or twice a week,u know

u have a bad meal,u cut em some slack,,anywhere can have a bad day

go again,bad waiter service,,ok,,
c wot happens nxt time

and its not gettin any better in any way or form,,

so im cuttin it off at source and not goin anymore,,

just wondered if anybody else has noticed a recent change in the service or food,im very curious

Albeit it is no good for customer service having a waiter who neither speaks or understands English. I find it ironic that you could possibly pull someone up for their use of the language!

As for the original subject: Steer well clear of Balti King. Very poor all round and there are far, far better curry houses in Sheffield.

i just went there cos i must have gone when it had a good period,,

ive given em a few chances, and after readin wots posted here,

thats enuf evidence for me

u seen the new buy one get one free deals they are doing now,,

they must be cuttin corners on summat???

anybody recomend a constantly good resturant then??

dilshad ,woodseats was good, but since original manger left a few yrs ago this is very hit and miss too

Seven Spices Balti - West Bar
Butlers Balti - Broad Lane
Manglas - Spital Hill
Ranmoor Tandoori - Ranmoor
Jaflongs - Crookes
Cafe Guru - Off West Street

All worth trying as reliably good and heads above the dire Balti King

I went once - crikes I was drunk. But I think that is what they rely upon... People too drunk to care.
